Network Infrastructure Administrator
Description
We are looking to hire a Network Infrastructure Administrator for a Client. This candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the network infrastructure related to HR application environments, including development, testing, and production. The role will involve monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues for workstations and servers in a multi-domain environment.
- Provide comprehensive support for all infrastructure equipment.
- Install approved software on various platforms and troubleshoot software application issues.
- Monitor network infrastructure daily and offer immediate support for problem resolution.
- Assist users with hardware and software problems, and Local Area Network (LAN) configurations including first and second-tier support ensuring all systems such as load balancers, firewalls, and servers function effectively and addressing severe outages.
- Monitor system performance across hardware, operating systems, databases, and HR applications. Ensure all components meet target performance levels.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and keep system documentation up to date.
- Research, recommend, and lead the installation of automated network monitoring solutions to ensure high network availability for HR applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field.
- Experience in managing network infrastructure, including load balancers and firewalls.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
- Proficiency in installing and supporting software across multiple platforms.
- Ability to monitor network performance and provide immediate technical support.
- Experience developing and maintaining SOPs and system documentation.
- Knowledge of automated network monitoring tools and solutions.
