Technical Program and Project Management
Description
We are looking to hire a Technical Program and Project Management specialist for a client to provide comprehensive management and cross-functional support. This role involves overseeing the execution of project scope using Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodology, focusing on risk mitigation, quality control, and adherence to budget and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a detailed Project Management Plan (PMP) outlining technical approaches, organizational resources, and management controls.
- Manage project activities, organization, and responsibility assignment matrix.
- Implement project management methodologies and ensure effective scope, requirements, schedule, cost, and quality management.
- Drive process improvements and manage human resources and communications.
- Assess and manage project risks, updating the PMP as necessary due to significant changes in project scope or subsidiary management plans.
Qualifications
- Have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. A bachelor’s degree in business management, Information Technology, or relevant field is preferred.
- Have and maintain current Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute. The Program Manager shall have an ITIL® expert certification.
- Strong knowledge and experience with the PMBOK methodology and proven ability to manage complex projects.
- Experience in risk management and quality assurance to ensure projects are completed successfully.
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in performing project management support services for IT Program.
- Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex project details clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound recommendations relevant to resource allocation and utilization, quality control and quality assurance, and business analysis.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple or competing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
