Description
We are looking to hire a Software Developer for a client. This role will be responsible for supporting all phases of software deployment to ensure that HR applications and databases meet mission goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements definition, systems design, development, and integration.
- Develop, test, and implement software solutions in accordance with task order requirements.
- Maintain and update current applications to meet evolving needs and standards.
- Develop new applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Prepare software for deployment, including data conversion and integration tasks.
- Transition applications to production servers and provide ongoing production support.
- Work closely with highly skilled developers, requirements analysts, and testers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Tailor the SDLC to meet the specific needs of each task order as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with government standards and provide production support beyond the initial deployment phase.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong skills in software design, development, coding, and testing.
- Experience with requirements definition, analysis, and systems integration.
- Ability to maintain and develop applications, ensuring they meet objectives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of government standards and procedures related to software deployment and production support.
